I recieved my Garfinkle Coil Relocation bracket today. I requested one to be used with the stock 3rd gen coil. He also offers one for use with the 2nd gen leading coil.
I am impressed once again with Garfinkle's work. Quality is the BEST as always with Garfinkle. The piece is beautiful. Backside. This side bolts to the chassis under the steering rack. ![]() Front side. This side is where the coils bolt to. ![]() The bracket mounts to the chassis with threaded inserts. ![]() Mock-up with coils. ![]() I will update this thread with more pictures as the install progresses. Included with the bracket was instructions written by Garfinkle. Here's a short excerpt from them. "The plate was made to mount the coils away from the motor's heat and to shorten the spark plug wires. The place I used for several years was below the steering shaft on the left side of the car."
