Do you have an air filter? I have two of those too just sitting around that I can't use. If you need one let me know and I won't throw them away.

I should have just boxed all of my rotary parts up and gave you the box. Seriously! I end up just throwing all the stuff away...

Whatever you do, don't toss it. I have quite a few spare parts that I've saved in case one of our RCCAZ members needs it in the future. Let's talk about what you have before you toss anything else out.

New pics from this weekend's progress. Vmount is now done for all intents and purposes. AC condensor will stay in place but not be hooked up until a few months down the road. IC piping is roughed in and the cold side will be final welded this week. Obviously the hot side pipe is still WAY too long, so that will be cut off once my 90 degree coupling arrives.

Couplings should be here by Wed, and a ton of odds and ends to complete this week if we're still gonna fire her this coming weekend. Everything will need to come together for us to be successful. We'll see.

Wish I could say "yes" but I am i-n-c-h-i-n-g closer.

Received the other ends of the connectors needed to make my fan harness extensions from Fritz Flynn. Other remaining items include assembling WG lines, coolant hoses, install different power steering cooler, figure out my intake system along with a few wiring odds and ends. And.... I need to spend some quality time with the wiffy, on top of not feeling well, so you know how it goes....., but SOON.... we will be there!

OK.... we're now within a week for our first start. Keep your fingers crossed. IC piping is now complete and the remote coils have been mounted. Here's a few pics of the most recent progress. Remaining items are fan harness extensions, undertray construction, wastegate lines plus a few other odds and ends, then attach fuel lines, DP, MP and catback and turn the key. We'll see.

Looking good -- are you planning to fab a cold air intake? Looks pretty tight in there right off the turbo for a filter.

Hey Jesse. Man, you ask all the tough questions. Thinking of a couple different approaches, but this is the one I've made the most progress on so far. Wish it were a little more visually appealing, but if I build a duct to seal the IC with the hood, I think it will provide the coolest approach "airwise." We'll see.

Still no downpipe?

Not much else to do? Vacuum lines...looks like that is about it and it will start. Dont know about road worthiness yet, did you figure out what to do with the PS cooler?

Hey Tim, I just tried sending you an email and got an "out of office" autoreply. I can't believe that you'd just up and leave for vacation so close to getting the FD running again. I told Lynn you must have gone on a roadtrip to break in the new motor!

Try me here at home or PM me. The wife and I are home for our "Spring Break" just trying to get some honey-doos completed around the house as well as completing the FD. Finished the WG lines today and got the radiator hoses attached. Tomorrow will be the PS cooler, then connect the wideband, Ignition box, DP, MP, catback and run the wires for my cooling fans. Finally, connect the fuel lines, pull the fuse to prime the system, load a "swag" map into my Power FC and see if she'll start. More than likely a couple of days yet. I'm thinking Thursday right now, but we'll see. For sure by Saturday.
