new kid from vancouver
hi guys.
Im a new kid from Vancouver, Canada. I join this club coz i want to learn more stuff about rotary from some awesome guys like u. I also have a 2004 rx8 6speed gt. i want more power from it but.... im only 17 and have no experience at all. so help me please. and sometime i go autoX to gain my driving skill too. i want to know more rx8 setting in autox. Welcome to RCC!! I would recommend to read up on all the basic as much as possible on our unique car on the internet as there is soo much resources out there, then eventually get into the more complicated stuff. I too started at 17 years old when I got my rotary, and now to this day its like speaking another language to people who are clueless about the wankel. Anyways it would be great to see pics of your car if you don't mind!!!

hey welcome. I also bought my RX8 when i was 17 (now 19 almost 20).. Enjoy your 8 and becareful with it.. You are doing the smart thing and doing AUTOX which will help you out a lot with the car. once again congrates on your car.

I started with the rotary at 17 also....haven't owned a boinger since. Welcome to the club.

Thanks guys. it seems its good to start with rotary at 17! anyways. here are some pics of my lovely 8! 80000 km, 2 hand, it looks shiny but the condition is not that good..... some parts are rusting...wut should i do? i want to tune my car but i also want to stay in B-class in autox

There will not be too much you can do to your car and stay in B-stock; cat-back, wheels/tires. If you start messing with anything under the hood you are basically (over simplification) going to be thrown into ST.
Whats rusting? Any pictures of rust? Simple way is to clean it and then add some sort of sealant/protectant. |
