Why only V8 discussions? No love for the I4/I6/B4/V6?

I have been thinking of doing a motor swap on an FD that I have. The thing is I am not planning to use a V8. I would like to show my progress on this forum. Maybe I am being silly, but maybe this section of the forum could read "Piston Conversions" or something similar. Just my $.02. Brandon |

Hmm...that would definently be different. What ya going to use for the trans...Mazda B-series truck trans? Or mod your FD trans?

I have the Mazda truck bell housing mated to a TII trans right now. I can't see why a FD trans wouldn't fit this bell housing though.

No need to keep this thread, IMO. Feel free to delete it, unless you believe it to be helpful. |

I have seen a SR20DET motor in an FD in one of my Superstreet Mags from a few years back. I'll have to dig through my collection and get back to you.

twin turbo SHO V6 would be nasty. once i pull the 960 motor i'll mock it up in the 87's engine bay for shits and giggles.
