OMP lines filling half way
This has been a problem since I added the turbo to the n/a block. I've been premixing since.
The lines fill from empty to about half full in about 2 minutes then stop (one goes a little further). I am getting no check engine lights, no limp mode. ______________________________________- possible other problems i'm experiencing that might (and I stress might) affect omp function - questionable tps (falls out of spec quickly, dead spot) - low oil pressure once vehicle warms up and about 2-300 miles after oil change ___________________________________ Things I've tried to remedy problem: - Change oil nozzles - rebuild vacuum spider - test lines for flow and leaks (I made new lines from a tut on 7club) - changed omp - changed back to n/a N351 ecu and let it idle for 10 minutes with no effect - had the front cover off when changing to t2 oil pump (this is the same front cover from before turbo just drilled and tapped for oil return) and made sure there was no flow issues to omp __________________________ Questions i'm not sure about or if anyone has had experience: - Could a bad tps be giving a weird reading to the ecu and affecting omp function?? - What else am I missing? Help!

do you have the source to the vacuum spider that pulls vacuum from the injectors, connected to a nipple that seems vacuum? Ie the factory port? Also, i am not sure if the spider is a check valve or not, but you wouldnt want the injectors to see boost pressure.

i'm almost certain its the factory port, one of the ones on the TB i believe... before I rebuilt the spider I didn't even have it hooked up, they were just capped (which from what I hear makes them put more oil in

they dont put more oil in when capped. The vacuum helps draw the oil up the tube in the first place.
Also there really arent any ports ON the throttle body itself. but on the part of the UIM that attaches to the throttle body.

also, there are numerous examples of people not having the vacuum hoses attached and the system working correctly. of course I can't condone that approach or want to...

it could be possible then that the oil injectors are clogged, or broken (thus the air has no where to go) but air will compress to a point.
also have you noticed seemage at the lines at all?

My minds tellin' me no...
|
I can answer those two questions:
-The oil injectors are tested good (after testing like 10) -No leakage anywhere. Also, Paul said the vacuum spider is connected to the front port of the UIM near the TB, not on the TB.
