Default 1st gen guys will LOVE this

New side emblems cost for the 79/82 $25.67 and for the 83/85 $39.20

No way Im paying that.

The problem is, 99% of the time the side emblems are not broken, but faded. The chrome part, fades kinda quick.

So, I came up with this:

Vynil decals for the side emblems. Chrome decals to put over the existing emblems.

The top one, is the one I had on my car, the one below, was a crappy as the other, but now with the decal on top, looks like new.

I will clear coat the emblem later on

Good idea. You gonna start mass producing these? You should do the logo on the hatch plate as well.

Looks good.

On another note, the aluminum/carbon RCC decals I bought from you faded to gold. Looks cool, but you may want to look into that aluminum vinyl.

I'll shoot some pics tomorrow. My car sits outside 24/7, but it is Washington State! It faded to a gold color on both sides of the car. My decals are on the "b" pillar (where it's supposed to have the GSL emblems).
