1st gen guys will LOVE this
New side emblems cost for the 79/82 $25.67 and for the 83/85 $39.20
No way Im paying that. The problem is, 99% of the time the side emblems are not broken, but faded. The chrome part, fades kinda quick. So, I came up with this: Vynil decals for the side emblems. Chrome decals to put over the existing emblems. The top one, is the one I had on my car, the one below, was a crappy as the other, but now with the decal on top, looks like new. I will clear coat the emblem later on

Looks good.
On another note, the aluminum/carbon RCC decals I bought from you faded to gold. Looks cool, but you may want to look into that aluminum vinyl.

I'll shoot some pics tomorrow. My car sits outside 24/7, but it is Washington State! It faded to a gold color on both sides of the car. My decals are on the "b" pillar (where it's supposed to have the GSL emblems).
