The ride back home wasn't as happy; had to ride the flatbed of shame for the last 200 miles. Long story short, clutch refused to fully disengage enough to allow shifting. Clutch hydraulics all checked out fine, so I might have a bent release fork, busted pivot ball or possibly a FUBAR'ed clutch or throw out bearing. Will know for sure after I pull the tranny.
Your car is beautiful man..... I hope to get my T2 there next year.

Thanks again for bringing the cars amd letting me take some photos. Sorry if i seemed unapproachable or did not formally introduced myself; i was slightly preoccupied with issues from work. But truly another amazing year with beautiful cars!

Yup, I almost felt like an FD owner riding home in the flatbed. I'll probably hold off on any engine rebuild jobs till winter, when the car is hibernating, but yeah if I have to yank the tranny out anyway to fix this, I may as well put in a new clutch and maybe a lightweight FW while I'm in there

ooooh! shiny! From what I can see of it that paint and bodywork looks flawless. Black is a VERY unforgiving color when it comes to flaws in either.
