Do SA front brake hoses work? I know they are the right thread pitch. I have some new ones laying about I can part with. IM me if you want em.

You and I both. Been working a lot lately, and the brake hose issue threw me a little off. Still waiting on that strut tool to be made!

Once the struts are done, here is the list to do in order:

Reinstall front struts
Install new front brake hoses and pads
Install new sway bar links
Install fuel tank
Install new fuel pump
Install new clutch slave and master cylinder
Install transmission
Install engine
Install radiator/oil cooler
Install new rad hoses and stuff
Bleed all the brake and clutch hydros
Fill differential with fluid
Fill transmission with fluid
Fill engine with oil
Fill engine/rad with coolant
Reinstall headlights, taillights, associated trim
Find and install a muffler (this one is roached)

Really, nothing there is hard, or time consuming. The 'hardest' part is probably all the trim installation.

The first week on April (6th-12th), with wife and kid will be out of town. I still have to work, but I will have more time to work on it. Also, Sundays are free, so I can get stuff done then as well.

If any of my local peeps want to help, feel free to text me.

Next two weekends are completely full for me, and i'm not exactly local anymore with a 30-40min drive each way, but if it really comes down to the wire i'll come down to help later in April.

Damn... I'm in Atlanta on business all that week, or I would be game. May be able to help that weekend the 12th/13th if it's not already done by then.

I figured you would appreciate the original bag they came in. Sorry they were
opened but I use them to very the SS ones I got as replacements.

So, my wheels are delayed....again....probably won't have them until another week and a half.

Because of this, I have a question:

Would you risk running the engine on jackstands? I am going to need to break it in, with only a short amount of time to do it!!!! It isn't a bridge or any huge port, so it should be fine.....right?

Only issue I see is the possible need to put some load on the engine... and that you'd have to sit there varying RPM for what? an hour? otherwise you are just idling and free-revving. I don't see how the port would matter. Also, you are reusing bearings right? That should shorten the time. If some have done it before then they can chime in. what sucks it putting a newly rebuilt carb on a refresh engine.

Break it in on the caravan, and change the oil once you get there!
