			Finally got around to giving the Miata a tune on race gas last night. I went with VP's MS109 unleaded race gas, considering how well it worked on a buddy's 2JZ single turbo we tuned. Did about 8 pulls and got it dialed in to the following numbers. 
		
		
		
		
		
		
			![]() I had hoped for 560 wheel so this was a pleasant surprise. Because MS109 is oxygenated, I had to run a little richer than normal to get maximum power and detonation suppression. The mixture ended up in the 11.4:1 range. Timing was bumped up about 5 degrees. On the street, I'm getting more wheelspin in 2nd, but 3rd is still holding. 4th gear feels like 3rd gear feels on pump gas. The chassis is handling the 90+ increase in torque well.
