new to rotary & forum

ok heres my story.always been big ford fan,then got this89 gtu n/a from my nephew,hes big rotary fan. car wouldnt start, sank some money and alot of time in it got it running, but in limp mode. just sent ecu to digital tuning to get stage 1 chip. hoping to get car runing good,then can get the car looking better, its kinda rough inside & out.

indeed i have, searched the site as a guest when i was trying to get the car runing. now that its going, and im not completly ignorant about rotarys thought might as well join and say thanks for the help.

chipping the ECU to resolve the limp mode is like taking a brick to the tail lights because they don't work. the OMP is still faulty and should be fixed.

ya but once ecu is chipped can go with mechanical pump and not havta worry about pump taking ecu out again. right?

by the way, since were on the subject, has anyone ever tried putting an s4 ecu in to take it out of limp mode?
