Sorry I missed your post. Yes, boost retard is a manner of speaking. The ignition map is fully programmable, so you decide what advance you want based on load v. rpm. It has 2-step and/or launch anti-lag as well.

If you're interested, please email me at the address shown in my signature.

For anyone that would like to follow this man's drama, the DHL tracking number is 97 0226 0923.

The package was dropped at a UPS Store location, which also services DHL. It's less than a week later and you're going public with thinly veiled accusations of being ripped off? If I was going to take your money and not ship anything, do you think I would have paid well over $100 for a label? Great caper that!

You were provided a tracking number a day after payment was received. Short of driving around and asking the random DHL driver if a 10x7 box happened to fall between the seats, what do you expect me to do? We don't routinely deal with DHL but did so at your request. Your guess is as good as mine. We do ship internationally all the time with USPS and UPS. I've had packages sit in customs for over a month with no updates on status. In less than a week you assume I'm up to no good?

Your package is insured. If it doesn't reach you in a reasonable amount of time, I'll file a claim and you'll be refunded the purchase price. Until then, please keep the public mudslinging to a minimum.

location says Floyds Knob I have a friend named Floyd and he'd frequently refer to that city, only bc he says it was named after his. . . well. . . knob.

that's all the input I have, bc i've never seen you do anything shady like that on the forums we frequent, Ludwig/LMS. Tracking number works, item was shipped, everything looks legit. Phlouse, I wouldn't stress over it, he's good people.

This is a good example why I don't do shipping internationally...
I found this hint when sellers would explicitly list specific countries they were NOT willing to ship to on eBay.
Most countries makes sense - most African nations, etc.
There were a lot of major European ones - lots of times Italy, Portugal, etc.
You're always going to have assholes no matter what.
Then you read the fine print from eBay that requires tracking AND insurance - I bet these thieves love to use that against unsuspecting vendors...
To ship internationally out of the USA requires BIG shipping fees - i.e. U.S. Postal, Global Express (that basically runs through DHL) or private shipper.
Big headache.

honestly the only thing i know about C. Ludwig is that i have used his post many years ago to learn how to closeloop boost control tune just when had had done the haltech seminar. When I saw the Haltech E8 for sale from him, I felt reasonably comfortable about purchasing it from him because he seemed like a very genuine guy.

This was done since Thursday 30 Oct. on Monday 4 Oct, the package is still showing in Floyds as only shipping info received. So Tuesday and today I am waiting to find out what has happened to the shipment. It is only this afternoon it is showing picked up since Thurday when i was told it would be picked up on Thursday. Yes you paid $100 for a stamp and I paid $160 to ship + $500 for your unit + 3percent paypal fees. So I am sorry if i would just like some definitive information on the shipment.

I you had responded or the info had shown that the package was picked up there would be no issue. Further more, it was DHL who instructed me to contact the shipper as they did not have the package and that is all I was trying to do, contact you.

So I came here just trying to get a response from you as I was unsuccessful via phone or email.

I would think if you forked out $680usd and 7 days passed and there is no concrete info about your investment, you would ask questions to try and get some answers.

The info posted has nothing negative in it, just the facts up until 2 o'clock today. I am a reasonable guy as i am sure you notice. So i did not come on here to mudsling i just came here to try and get some info on the shipment.

Ted, i have built 2 cars via fedex and dhl. Arias piston, Precision turbo, Pwr liquid intercooler etc etc. The majority of my components have come from California, Australia, Malaysia and even a final drive from Mexicali Mexico. I have never had any issues with my items. When they leave on Monday they arrive on Thursday, or Wednesday arrive Saturday. This had gone on for 6 years no issues. So I specifically request Fedex or Dhl for that reason. I can trust them, once they receive, they ship.

Haltech E8 Received. Good packaging. Powered up nicely, but i do not have a rotary. I will be using this on a Mitsubishi. The trigger and ignition are configured for the rotary. Can this be change locally or do i have to send it to haltech.

Thanks in advance

Byron
