New from North Dakota
I bought me self a 1993 Mazda Rx7 FD Nov 2 of 2011 with 37,000 original miles on it and just plan to race the piss out of it. This model is my dream car and I was lucky to snag it up in Omaha for 10K and just wanted it for autox and road course reasons. The engine is/was bone stock(just ripping in to it) and it has Koni Yellow shock with Ground Control springs, upgraded front and rear lower sway bars, along with Caraboo or what ever name it is racing seats. I am on rx7club forum and joining this one to see more options that might be missed on the other site compared to this one. The engine bay is just getting cleaned up as I am helping her run better. I am putting on Megan Racin 3" exhaust all the way through straight pipe, 53MM Koyo radiator, 4" intercooler, and doing a block off kit to rid of some of the rats nest. I am getting either a GREDDY pulley kit or a Gilmer Kit for the car. right now I am looking at getting the Gilmer kit if I can find one for the FD. That is all I am really wanting to do with it for the fact she runs great but I want to keep her cool.

Wow, 37k original miles? Not many running around with that low mileage these days. Was it in comparable condition? I'm thinking it's pretty nice. I wouldn't race that, I'd drive it only on the weekends and get one that's practically wrecked and race that lol.

the car was owned by an 60+ year old man who had another one with a LS swap in it. So that said the car was in fantastic shape and all looked new.Thought about keeping it low miles but it is my dream car and never going to sell it so I figured it hell why now. Plus it is only driven on race days and nothing else so that should keep miles down. Driving it like a rotary should be drove.
