Pressure plate maybe?
My car has eaten 3 clutch master cylinders in about 3000 miles of driving. Mostly easy street driving with a few passes down the track. But I always used junk yard masters and figured i had bad luck with used parts. So I recently bought a brand new master and got a new slave cylinder as well. I pumped a lot of fluid through it just to make sure the line was clean. It took a really long time to build up pressure when bleeding also. Much longer than usual. And still never really felt right.
Now it engages and disengages about one inch from the floor. Same as my last used master cylinder was doing when it started to go bad. But I know it is a good master this time, as well as the slave. There are no leaks in the line or where it connects to the master or slave either. Could it be the pressure plate? I'm open to ideas...

I guess that could be a possibility, I just don't see it bending for no reason....

I would think the same aswell possibly bad throwout bearing, unfortunately only positive way is by separating the engine and trans and looking for damage closely in my opinion.

Did some research and found that the T2 fork is much stronger than NA forks and is near impossible to bend. But, i have all the symtoms of a broken or missing alignment ball.
Sucks that such a cheap and easy fix is actually a pain in the ass since I will have to drop the tranny... Thanks for the help

Do I get forum bucks?
I hope that is it, especially with the effort required.

I wish there was a way to get at it without pulling the tranny...

Is this a T2 tranny? If so, you might try removing the small inspection plate on the bottom of the bellhousing, and maybe rent one of those fiber optic inspection cameras to get a look in there. Heck, you might be able to see the clutch fork & pivot ball by using a small enough inspection mirror & flashlight.
