Proud owner of an 83 S daily driver in St.Charles, Mo with:
79 engine stripped emissions rebuilt/stripped carb rb header and muffler no cats 2g leading coil short shifter new exedy clutch optima red top  engine pic.  my carb.

Not mid mo, but I am in st. Louis city and I have a non running bridge ported 85.

I'm in St. Louis, but I drive into Mid Mo every now and then. I usually watch the 100 Acre Wood Rally each year, and sometimes I have business meetings/training in that area. Car is a mostly-stock red 88 RX-7 convertible. My other car is a mostly not-stock black 88 coupe that is in the garage more than it is on the street, so you probably will not see me driving that one very much, lol.
