Probably should've let you drive it back to NVNC.... "GRASS!!!!!!!" Sorry 'bout that, thought I was ok.... you know you're tired when you start falling asleep and can't see straight while driving any of those rds. I did make Tray drive me back to the cabin though.... homie was hauling balls! He turned left, I hit my head on the glass, woke up, and saw 75mph on the speedo. Slouched down in the seat and went back to sleep.... got to the cabin and promptly passed out on the pool table becuase some bastard took my bed.

Oh yeah Hades... definately take you for a real ride real soon.... we picked up 80ft/lbs of torque on the dyno just by playing with the boost control down low.... she's now @ 250+ft/lbs by 3k! We bumped the redline to 8k becuase the torque carried for another 1000 rpms, literally. Peak torque is now something like 7.6/7.7k..... she's a fucking rocket. Must get back to dyno and finish playing.

Hey John, it was great meeting you as well! That's for letting us roll with y'all on the way back. Colin and I did make it back just fine, we crashed in PA so I could play on the dyno in the morning, then he left a little early as he wanted to beat the traffic and he had to get Ally somewhere as well.

I would LOVE to hit up some tracks with you guys this summer. THe auto-x's are nice, but I really want to stretch her legs a little. Lemme know, please, I'd really like to go with you guys.

Don't short your FD man, she's a beaut! You should definately take pride in the fact that you did everything yourself, she's awesome for sure.

Did you find that M84 thread I was telling you about?

he is a 1/2 lying **** who was missing some parts, but was not as bad as he made it out to be.

He showed up very late on Saturday morning-3ish I think. Then he entered his car in the show I saw him around 9ish in the morning. His car was awesome (for an FC anyway ). I lost track of him until later on at the banquet.

He was asked to help fix an FD back out on the dragon. On the way TTT became a little sleepy and decided that I should drive instead.

So I grudgingly said ok. I really didn't want to drive a piece of shit FC with no torque and laggy turbos. On the way TTT got a little shut eye.

We got to the FD about 1:00 in the morning. Goodfellas and some others beat us there and found out that one of the 2ndary injectors got stuck wide open. It managed to have fuel pouring out of every possible location. So the engine was deflooded. Both secondaries disconnected and we left around 1:50am.

Then we drove back to the lodge where I took this pic.

TTT was on the was to KDR to get his POS dyno'd on Monday. I texted me that it made a bit more torque

For the last few weeks I've been pissing and moaning about not getting parts in time and have been leading people to believe that I wasn't taking the FC, when in fact, I knew I was going to.... 2gslse even said something to the effect of, you lied to us, you said you were going to the airport in the Jeep to pick your buddy up. That was actually the truth, I just said it in a way that would lead everyone to believe that we were leaving right after that.... so yeah, got you all!!!!! Then, Thursday morning she was outside idling away ready to go whe we realized that my e-fan had puked. I was like, screw this, we're going anyway, lets go get Colin and leave. But his ride wasn't done and he needed me to weld some stuff so we hung around and got his car rolling, I replaced the E-fan, rebled and adjusted the brakes, and we left on our 21hr journey

Ironic thing is, if we HAD left, we would've been stuck in all that tornado traffic and I would've been screwed with no e-fan so I guess it was a good thing we left late? All I kow is I can't wait to go back.
And yeah, now that the surprise is over with, I'll update the thread with all the pics I took of things that I did that I didn't tell anyone about

You looked like an old lady hunched over the steering wheel trying to focus.

I won't lie-I puckered and not from the speed . I am surprised you actually remember that "GRASS!!"

In truth guys this thing is very built in all aspects. The engine is very torquey and the turbos are very very responsive. I left it in 3rd when I was driving. It had no problem pulling out of any turns (some tight and went up hill)--and we are taking about low rpms. I could have shifted down to 2nd. But it really didn't seem necessary.

The only thing I would do it get a full manual rack instead of the depowered rack--but that's just me and its a very very small critique.

Thanks.

I will be sure to let you know when I find out the next track event. I am hoping to get on track pretty soon as I have not been yet this year.

I am proud of my car... it is just not quite where I would like it to be yet, but it is close.

I have been doing quite a bit of reading on the topic of Motec ECU's since we spoke and I still have more to learn. I do plan on coming up with my necessary list of inputs/outputs this week, then I can go from there.

I would also be interested in stopping by next time you head over to KDR to pick your brain about tuning a bit. Im not too far from Dave's shop.

I definitely need to get a ride in that at some point.

I wish we had more time to do a race gas map. Maybe when you come out here for a bit. The response and midrange power of your engine is insane. Definately the best setup I've ever played with as far as rotaries are concerned.
