Yikes, that's gonna be a monster. Interesting mounting of the turbo too, never seen that before.

The Twins Turbo FD is very similar. Uncompromising way to mount the WG IMO
It's how I'll be plumbing mine

Hopefully! Got a ways to go, planning on a 4" DP to twin 3" midpipes/catbacks with the waste gate rerouted.
This is actually my third try on the design for this car, hard to make it really nice when you have a chassis in the way...

Everything is going to be coated, then heat shielded too.

Won't the wastgate cause turbulence with a step in the sidewall of the pipe on the outside of a bend like that?

Or is the goal to get the air into the wastegate?

(Forgive the ignorance, I know what wastegates do, but I have very little experience with them or how they are mounted).

Wastegates control boost by venting exhaust gases, pulses, energy. It's easier to get those into said wastegate when it's mounted as shown, as opposed to the right angles that are normally seen. It makes the WG more effective

Is there going to be any bracing on that setup?

Also, at the 3-1 merge, are those steps for anti reversion? Or are they just slip joints for expansion?

Beautiful as always

Looks like a double-slip merge collector to me.

Just a double slip connection to prevent cracking. It will be braced, it has too...
Its in the process of being coated...

That is beautiful engineering and execution. Might be my new current favorite 20b turbo motor. The design of the turbo and wastegate location and piping and the shielding and the clean way it done is just beautiful.
