Default 13b turbo to N/A Are the series 4 13B turbo motors as the naturally aspirates serie

13b turbo to N/A

Are the series 4 13B turbo motors as the naturally aspirates series 4/5 motrors the same except for compressed rotors? can i chuck in N/A 13b rotors in a 13b turbo engine and all will be fine? ill be losing the turbo and periperal porting.

ill also use the 13b turbo manifold to get EFI.

The compressions are different

so if i change the rotors from low to high compression, then i can run the engine N/A right?

You can still run boost on all of these, just get your tune right. As far as the rotor specs I believe it goes like this.
13B rotor comparison:
1974-1978 / 9.2:1 @ 11.58 lbs
1984-1985 / 9.4:1 @ 11.58 lbs
1986-1988 NA / 9.4: @ 10.04 lbs
1987-1988 Turbo / 8.5:1 @ 10.04 lbs
1989-1992 NA / 9.7:1 @ 9.54 lbs
1989-1992 Turbo / 9.0:1 @ 9.54 lbs
1993-up Turbo / 9.0: @ 9.54 lbs
Renesis 2004-up / 10.0:1 @ 9.30 lbs

The 13b turbo manifold will not work with a peripheral port.

Otherwise, make sure that your entire rotating assembly is from the same series at a minimum.

Also whatever series and style(turbo or N/A) you have to run the appropriate counterweights and front rotating assemblies that came with that series.
