crankcase over-pressure
Hey all, I've run into a slight issue with my full-bridged 13B-RE that I've got in my FC. The crankcase is over-pressurizing when I go north of about 7,000 RPM, and it's gushing oil out the nipple on the back side of the center iron next to the oil fill neck. It's quite annoying, especially since I've no idea what to do to stop this. I've got a breather vent system set up on it now, but with the weber-style ITB setup, I don't have a PCV system as of yet. Oh, it's also all run as a N/A setup with all turbo oiling blocked off and I'm running an FD oil pressure regulator and pressure relief spring so it runs about 90-100psi when at temp. Thanks for the input, I'd really like to get this figured out soon as the engine is almost done with break-in and I don't really want to have oil spewing out on the dyno during the final tuning.

Oil catch can. They sell all kinda from about 100 different companies. There's a all kinds of them on eBay for about 20 bucks at all times.

Oil catch can isn't going to cure it, it'll only fill up until the oil pukes out of catch can.
Is this happening on straits or on a track, lots of right handers etc etc? If it's only on the right handers, you need an oil baffle plate. I can make a 100 3rd gear pulls on the highway with nothing getting into the catch can. But after one or two runs on an auto-x track the thing is spewing Also, who built the engine? What were the tolerances set to? How bad were the wear grooves in the irons? It could be honest blow-by puking up the oil filler. Also, just a catch can is kinda useless as I have found out. What you should be doing is filtering it out through the catch can and pulling clean air into the engine under vaccuum.

He's right, A baffle would be a better choice...

Depends what the problem is. If it's oil creeping up the filler from lateral g's, then yeah, if it's ton's of blow-by from a shitty build, than it'll only slow it down.
Baffle plates are a good idea though.

whoops, just re-read the post............
that nipple on the iron is obviously routed into the center iron. No offense, but it sounds like a pretty loose engine. There are a couple of things to do here. One is to cap that nipple solid and set up a re-circ system from the oil filler tube back into the intake through a catch tank to clean it somewhat. Seeing as how you have two unused oil return lines, you could plumb that nipple through a catch can with a filter and just drain it back into the sump
