New Member from Cincinnati area
Hello everyone. Just a note to introduce myself here. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and after 8 years in the Army settled in Ohio north of Cincinnati. In '86 I met LEKNAW in Germany and we were both transfered to Oklahoma at the same time. He introduced me to Mazda rotary engined cars. I bought an '83 GS with front and rear spoilers which I had for several months before trading it out for a more reasonable family car. I moved to Ohio in '93 and in '95 bought an '84 GSL. I put a a clutch and exhaust system in it(anyone remember the UPS strike? I waited for my exhaust during that time and the shop I bought it from almost went under before I got my parts). I sold it in '00 when I bought a new Triumph motorcycle. I'm looking again at buying a 1st gen and will start posting questions in a couple of minutes.

Welcome. You might also try www.ohiorotaries.com, particularly if you're looking for a car. Always something for sale, and probably local.

Welcome! Another Cinci member!
Hamilton, huh? Not to far from me in West Chester. I keep hearing of a rotary group in town but I haven't seen anything/anyone - must be farther south. Good luck with the search. I had a hell of a time finding a decent FC in the area; so much so I ended up picking one up in DC and trailering it out here. |

Thanks. I'm considering an FB(test drive questions posted in 1st gen forum). No rush in getting my next RX as I've already got an older Dodge truck, Volvo SW and motorcycle.
Infernosg, I work in West Chester. |
