The Newbie
|
Another newbie, who woulda thunk.
Yes another new rotary owner. I bought an 05 rx-8 with 40k on the clock, manual of course. I couldnt be more pleased.
I come from a background of truly sh*tty cars. A 91 galant as a first car, died years ago. 90 escort which the tranny gave way, 93 240sx that one of the ex's took with her. It was shit and it was the least of my worries trying to make her go away. A 95 4 door saturn, that for all its worth really held together well as a beat on car. The last foray was a 90 TSI AWD talon, with a 16g turbo and all the fun goodies. Until the fuel tank mount ripped through and its now sitting, being absolutely useless. The 8 is the perfect car for me. Great daily driver, quick in all the right ways, and appeases the girlfriend with its "4" doors. Going to do my first autocross in late April, and unfortunately may not be able to make the DGRR because I dont know how much leave I have and have no one to go with, but its kind of up in the air still. |
