Default Anyone that's going to DGRR interested in an exhaust?

Hey guys -

Getting STOKED about going to DGRR! Finally getting the car back in one piece, it will be looking GOOD for the event!

I had a thought - I have a LOT of FD cat-back exhausts in my garage that I've dragged my butt on selling. Since there will be a lot of RX-7 guys in one place, I figure I could haul one or maybe two up if anyone is wanting to buy one. Only limiting factor is how much I can fit in the back of an FD with 2 people and luggage .

I have -

- Apexi N1
- Tanabe Racing Medallion
- Turbo Tuf (this is an OLD SCHOOL US exhaust, sounds good too)
- ATR (again, old school US)
- Generic Ebay N1-style cat back
- Resonated midpipe (I think it's an ATR)
- Straight midpipe
- Unknown downpipe

I'd probably be looking to do $150 each on the exhausts and resonated midpipe, $75 each on the downpipe and plain midpipe.

Again, this is me hauling them up to DGRR, I'm not wanting to ship them right now. Thinking about it, I might be able to bring a couple if I can talk other local guys that are going into donating some hatch space .

I can give more specifics on each one as well.

Thanks!
Dale

I'll get some pics up soon, gotta do a lineup.

BTW, the FD drove around tonight for the first time in 4 months or so . ZERO traction in this weather!

Can't wait to see your FD Dale! I'm always amazed at what you did to your FD.

I might be interested in one. I am picking up a roller without an exhaust this weekend. But I am also not 100% certain I can make it to DGRR yet.

OK, FINALLY got off my butt and took some pics. These are all of them kinda dirty, they will be cleaned and buffed/polished for whoever wants them.

Head here for the Photobucket album -

http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/a.../Exhaust%20FS/

Some notes -

- Tanabe Racing Medallion. Very slim muffler, sticks out a bit from the back bumper. It does have the usual scuffs on the bottom. Actually is not that loud, I thought it would be way loud but it sounds really good.

- Apexi N1. You guys know this one. A scrape on the bottom removed the plate that says it's an N1. I've done some sanding/polishing on the main can, and with a final buff it will look VERY good. The piping has been repainted with high temp silver paint, it discolored to gold a bit.

- Motoria. I think this is an Ebay cat-back. It's actually in damn near new condition, I traded a guy for it, he ran it for like a month or something.

- Turbo Tuf. This is an OLD SCHOOL US made cat-back. Uses the stock muffler bracket to mount, I'm including one with it. Big 5" tip, sounds VERY good. On the loud side, as are most US cat-backs. I almost thought about welding a different tip on and running it, it sounds great.

- ATR. Another old school US made cat-back. Also uses the stock muffler bracket, but "twists" it up so you don't see it, nice design. VERY loud. Has really good ground clearance, it's generaly in really good shape.

- Resonated midpipe. Not sure who made it, it's in good shape, no rattles or anything, good fit, etc.

- Plain midpipe. It's mild steel, I think it's from ATR. Surface rust of course, you could Jet-Hot it and have it look brand new.

- Unknown downpipe. Has a JDM-style head, welded from sections. NO idea who made it, does seem to be decent quality. Also mild steel.

Oh, not pictured, but I do have a Bonez downpipe that I discovered . Stainless, good shape with some discoloration. The mount to bolt it to the transmission is bent downwards, but I never use that mount anyhow .

If you guys need better pics or more info, let me know. I can probably fit 2 or so exhausts in the back of the FD, if more I might be able to talk other people around here into hauling one up for me.

Thanks!

OK, the N1 has dibs on it, and I've got interest in the resonated midpipe.

Just sold and shipped the N1 and the Bonez midpipe. Dude had to pay more because he didn't get the in-person delivery that DGRRXX folks will get
