Benefits for 2mm would be less rotating mass. Benefits for 3mm stronger.
If you are going all out for weight loss and getting every last bit of performance then go with 2. But to get everything out of it you are going to be getting the rotors, eccentric shaft all weights lightened and have a tube frame and money is no object. If it is a club racer or you just want good performance and long term reliability I would go with the 3's. With the rpms of the bridge I would feel more comfortable with the 3's. I don't think you will really notice any difference in performance between the two if this is just a BP stock part motor. |
