				Hello

My name is Steve Sutphin I live in Christiansburg VA. I've had RX7's since the early 80's. I started with a used 79 then bought a new 86 and the a wrecked 86 that I repaired. I got a used 91 that was loaded, my son still drives it. I now have a red base model 93 with some mods. There is little help around me with these cars. I'm hoping to get a little insight on a few things. Like how do you cut off the seat belt buzzer on a 91. It buzzs all the time even with the seat belt hooked! I hope to go to Deals Gap next year and meet some of you. Thanks, Steve

			Welcome!!! Quote:
I ask because the seatbelts warning beeps a few times when you first start the car, then it will also beep a few times if you disconnect it with the car still on. A buzzer is something all together different. It comes on when the coolant is low, or the oil level is low, or you go past redline. Let me know and I can help further.

				beep not a buzz

I'm sorry it is a beep. It is the seat belt. Christiansburg is in southwest VA near Va Tech. I'll try and post some pictures soon. Thanks, Steve

I am under the impression that if there is a constant beep-beep-beep that the power steering ECU has failed. The steering is speed sensitive, and there is a little box that controls the pressure dependent on velocity. I think I have mine still if you want it. If the seatbelts are broken, the computer doesn't care. The light just stays on. Trust me, mine are currently broken

I'll have to take your word on that. The seat belt light is on so that's what I though it was. Where is this box? I can't even find the beeper. Is it easy to fix? What do you want for yours? Thanks, Steve
