I will be honest, I do not know too much about the 12A. However, seeing that a lot of the parts for them are not easily available at this point, I would assume that there is a demand for the engine parts depending on the condition. also, you need to factor in variables like initial engine cost, time invested into tearing it apart, cleaning, speccing parts to see if they are usable, etc.
It all depends on if you are just trying to make a quick buck, or if you are wanting to help out the rotary comunity. If your answer is easy money, look elsewhere buddy!

Temporarily insane.

The parts of the 12A torn apart would be worth more than the whole engine itself, I would imagine. Not many people want to do a 12A swap, but there are more of us out there with 12As that want to rebuild them but need certain parts (I, for one, need a housing and a front rotor).

as previously stated, you have no idea what anything is worth til its apart otherwise unless the price is very fair (like 100 or less for the engine), its a gamble as far as what your getting.

If you actually own another 12a car keep it! haha I have collected 6 now for when something somewhere breaks, they haven't made one since 85 so things are getting harder to find
