Clutch Adjustment, Can it help with slipping?

OK, the clutch is definitely slipping. I have the FSM directions on how to adjust the pedal -- can adjustment make a dif with the slipping? I'm sure we've burned some of the clutch teaching my 16 yr old how to drive a stick, but I remember being able to adjust out some amount of this (a hundred years ago). Thanks for your thoughts. |

Adjusting the pedal will not change the amount of pressure the pressure plate can apply. It is time for a new clutch disc and likely pressure plate if you are still using the stock one.
