fuel pump doesn't prime on an automatic

I notice this on another automatic that I just finish a rebuilt. Have anybody notice this or is it just the bad luck I been having with an auto?

you dont hear it prime or you know its isnt priming?

check the wiring to the pump ive found that to be a major problem... major drop in voltage, poor grounding etc.

It doesn't prime when ignition is turned to ON, this happen to 2 auto fd I have so far. I know when I put the PFC in it the fuel pump primed but not on a stock ecu. Could anybody confirm that an automatic FD doesn't prime the fp?
