Fuel economy varies from car to car, especially when the owners start modding their car. There is a thread in here somewhere about this...

The thread posted above is a great place to start. I have had prob. 15-20 FD's over the years that the fuel economy ranges anywhere from 10mpg(poorly tuned single running extremely rich) to 27-28mpg(mostly stock and running properly on the highway).
