				Oi

			Hey all,

![]() My name is Ervin. I am 26, and am currently a rotor hater. I'm here because the site was mentioned to me by a couple of friends. Before I get flamed let me explain my disposition on rotary engines. I had an 88 TII which was an utter POS, likely due to the prior owner. Since then I have had a sour taste in my mouth for them. However, due to some pushing from a couple of buds, I am considering giving them another chance, and picking up a RX8. I can't afford an FD right now. I am still a rotard, but, am willing to learn. Which is why I came to this site.

Undecided, I am only in consideration phase... I am no stranger to modified cars, but, right now I have three different(very) cars in mind.

CTS-V RX8 STI All sit in roughly the same cost, and this will be a daily, I am looking to pick something up that will be reliable but still have a fun factor, but, I require 4 doors or accessible rear seats. Past cars 400WHP Evo 350WHP Mk 1 MR2 with 3SGTE Swap 160WHP Mk1 NA MR2 Merlin Motor'd 1969 Chevelle 440WHP 06 GTO 335WHP Chevrolet Monza Spyder Never done a Euro, don't want to, had to fix my mom's 318 all the time when I was at home. |

Wangan, if you have a problem with the rotary engine part of an RX, we can fix that.

We just do the mod. It's the best mod to give low end torque.

Well if you have had an EVO you dont want a STI.

The cadilliac is nice and powerful but for what u pay it is quite chimpsey. I say get the 8... its nice, fun, has some room, and with the 6 spd is quite a "quick" car. |

I know the STi's are alot different than an Evo, but, different isn't always a bad thing. I really want a PB RX8 and there are a couple for really decent price down here. |

I have a buddy who owns and Evo 9 completely done up and he went to drive a STI and said in comparison the STI failed!

I have driven a stock evo 9 and an sti and the only think I like best is the sound of the STI.. but driving wise the evo is better IMO the CTS-V is still just a caddy. ICK! |

![]() the V may be just a caddy, but, from what i hear they are pretty rockin. plus it would get my dad and uncle off my back (about buy American) I was actually going to buy a RX8 before I bought the Evo, but, the sales group tried to sell it to me at 19.8% apr Mazda Financing. I just left. I don't know at this point. |
