Default New FD Door Light Switch

The door switches are used for both lighting and the alarm system.
When the door opens, the switch makes contact and grounds the circuit to the chassis.

The original ones were cheapy made Protege units. There now are replaced with high grade newer design switches.
The new part number is: LC11-66-540 and cost $21 for two.
These have a large male spade connector on them which is different than original but there is a very easy fix. The original wire connector is actually a large female spade with a large to small male adapter inserted into it. Just remove it and all it good.

Cool, I just broke my driver's side switch last weekend. lol

I was laying under the dash fixing the ignition wiring harness back to stock after someone installed an anti-theft system and I accidentally kicked the door switch and broke the spade connector.
