				Coilover setup on the cheap

Yeah well, I would love to be able to get the RE-SPEED one, but considering the 3 to 1 currency rate, the taxes and shipping... its a no-no So, I got a set of ebay subaru impreza coilovers from a friend that didnt like them, and started to work. I made a grylon bushing, but ended up being too hard to slip over the strut, so I cutted it in two. From there on, everything went well. I used a dremmel on the lower part of the threaded sleeve and trimmed to math the strut part it stands on.

Wow that is amazing. I've been pondering how to get a gravel suspension setup for my 1st gen. If impreza pieces can be made to work, jackpot!

Looks like it should work out pretty well man. Its a drag that you had to go through all that trouble due to border issues though. Let us know how it handles once you get the motor in and running... .

I'm with Kentetsu on this one. I think its horrible that you have to go through all the troubles of being in a different country, but definitely some great work there.
