no, no. The S5 TII Chip should have been here a long, LONG time ago. I'm anti-Rtek just because they hate S5 TII owners.

Which makes perfect sense. They are sacrificing safety either way. lol

Haha, yeah I have been watching the Rtek chip since I bought my car.
Not much in the " updates ".....

As for the Rtek being $600 - It costs around $400 for my ECU to be chipped + shipping both ways + buying a cable for it + buying a PDA for it.
Plus the PDA would drive me crazy trying to mess with fuel and timing tables on such a small screen....

But yeah, I pulled the rear secondary injector today.
Put a hose with some water in it on the end of the injector and put 12v on/off of it and NOTHING came out at first. I then backflowed it with water and did the same thing. Then flowed it the correct way and I got some water. Did it about 5 times and it started dribbling out in a nice even fashion. Put it back in...Tada. Goes past 3800 rpms like nothing

Hauls ass now.....gotta be more aware of my throttle input from now on

congrats!! Pics?

For 300 more than that I bought a Haltech E6X. Try the Rtek but look around to see what your options are. In the end you'll upgrade to something even better (ask classic, lol)

PDA's that can be had for less than $50. The cable too can be had for under 20. So I don't know why you would be spending 200 bucks on top of the unit? When all is said and done though, if you're debating on going with an SAFC or an AFC NEO, you might as well pay the same amount for an RTEk and get more bang for your buck.

Great on getting your car up and running! Always a good thing.
