http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7tHpnf0CI8 Dunno if anyone else has posted this yet, but the FD still holds it down versus the newest machinery! Hooray for Mazda!

Well, it is nice seeing a heavily upgraded FD holding it's own, but I'd like to see what a stock FD would do (i.e. get owninated).

^Well a 480hp car with a SMG and 15 years newer technology should kick a 255hp 5-spd car built in the early 90s ass

thats an MCR car- not quite stock.. i dont read japanese, but i can tell it has coilovers (14kg, 12kg), endless brakes, and sounds a bit louder than a stock car should be.. the last major touge battle i saw with the FD was against MCR's R34 (600hp or something rediculous), which it spanked. go REA! lol

Well, another fact to consider is that FD is a STREET CAR! It is built to be daily drivable, and doesnt have HALF as many computers to drive it as the GTR! The car is really not heavily modified by japan's standards, compared to some of Amemiya-san's other cars (ie: FC2000 time attack car)

i think we can all agree that thats about the ideal FD build (for a street car) who could ask for more?? (this is in no way a precurser to v8 vs rotary lol)
