Hi from the UK
Hi everyone I'm based in the UK and got hooked on rotaries relatively recently when I purchased my six speed RX-8 brand new in 2004....
10 years on and I've added a '83 RX-7 (known as the FB in UK) to my "fleet" and I'm a moderator on two other rotary forums; rx8ownersclub.co.uk and mazdarotaryclub.com , plus a member on rx7fb.com , so seemed only right to say "hi" on this forum too! My RX-8 is a "veteran" of 35 trackdays in the UK, having made the following mods; Tein MonoFlex coilovers Tein strut brace front Racing Beat ARB's F&R Racing Brake "Big Brake" front calipers and two piece disks F&R Racing Beat REVI RAM air duct and K&N filter Racing Beat SS catback Short shifter Federal 595RSR tyres for track Oil and water temp gauges The RX-8 is mostly now for pleasure driving and trackdays. The RX-7 is currently off-road whilst I undrtake some major renovation work. A have a Honda Jazz for daily use A pic of each of my rotaries. RX-8 pic was taken at the Castle Combe race track in Wiltshire. I'll be back there this coming weekend for Europe's biggest Jap event, Japfest. I'll be taking the car on track for 3 sessions, which should, be fun as the forecast is for rain.... |

Welcome. The '83 is known as an FB here as well. You don't see very many first generations on the forums from the UK. It must be a pretty unique car to see on the road over there. They're seldom seen here in the US either.
