1976/77 Hercules W2000 w/ oil injection, one of 199 ever made!

This picture was taken at DGRR 2010

I bought the bike from Jess @ Rotary Recycle a few years ago after selling my RE5. Since owning it I've gone through everything and made sure everything worked.

The only parts replaced on the bike are the clutch discs (OEM) and a new battery (Odyssey drycell). That I know of, the bike is original.

With a little polish and time she'll clean up nicely!

These clutches are a PITA! The transmissions were KTM special built trannys and the clutches are a disaster! These would grab, straight from the manufacturer. I experimented with mine by using a combination of fiber and brass plates and also different types of fluids (ATF, standard gear oil and many others). The results were better but not anything to brag about, basically a lot of work for nothing

All loaded up and ready for the show

Purchased for $500.
Ground some rust off it to store it until I could get at the project. Ended up being my main project at the moment. Budgeting and trying to get some room in my shop as to not burn the place down while doing some welding.

Glamour shot w/flat that magically has fixed itself

Mods it came with:
Big Swaybar
Racing beat sway bar spacer blocks.
Rusted out gas tank.
Getting all chassis work done first.
Looking at solutions for a few things.
Going to get a rewire most likely.
Parts collected so far:
My 13BT from my FC is going under the hood
Sparco steering wheel
HKS Titanium Muffler
Supernow Bushings
