Default Rx8 cluster in a 3rd gen?

THought I'd ask here since theres more of a possiblity of someone having seen the back of the rx8 cluster.

I am going to be doing a custom guage install in my 3rd gen project. Origionally I was going to just pick up various after market guages that I was after, mainly Tach, Spedo, Fuel level.

After getting my rx8 though, I really like the large tach with the digital speed box on the tach. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiance with how the back side of the cluster is setup and theories/discusions on if it could be wired to run with the 3rd gen.

If not maybe some recomendations/discussion on a similar tach guage being offered somewhere that includes the digital speed. Mainly all I am after is Fuel level, Tach, Speedo and would like to keep it as compact as possible yet large enough for viewing. I have apexi eII guages for fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, and egt, also a wideband and will be monitoring boost through a boost controller that are all modded into my a/c and radio space.

Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated,

Jonathan

Are all the compents powered by one of those flexible circut boards similar to what the 3rd gen cluster uses? If so I wonder if you could just remove that and hard wire the gauges.

And yes the rx-8 cluster is bad ass, thats what got me looking to see if there was some way to use it rather than picking up seperate gauges. Thanks for your input, I figured it would never be a simple plug and play and my soldering skills arn't at a level where I could keep all the lights and functions, most of which I don't need or want anyway.
