Default FS: 1977 RX3-SP, $15K, Modesto, CA 95355

RARE ORIGINAL RX3-SP. I am the third registered owner, have owned the vehicle for five years, and have a copy of the original pink slip. Second owner owned the vehicle for about three years and original owner had it for about thirty years. Original engine w/thermo reactor (passes smog easily) and original 5 SP transmission, paint, door panels, headliner. Has less than 64K original miles on entire vehicle. Always a California car. Car is IMMACULATE, has been in various car shows and is appraised at $27,500. Car was feautured in the April 2011 edition of Hemmings Motor News when owned by second owner (photo op and article was done in 2006 but not published until 2011). Vehicle has no interior rips or holes. No dents and very few dings (worst one being on the passenger quarter panel - see photos). All lights including - turn signals, hazards, reverse, low oil, low coolant, brake and e-brake indicator light work except as listed below. Heater and cigaretter lighter work. Remember this is an ORIGINAL RX-3 SP and fewer than 1600 were ever produced! This is an early production SP manufactured in 1/77. Truly a collector's car that can also be driven regularly. Car has only been in sunlight when being driven/shown/or displayed it's entire life. Comes with a good car cover.

Replaced/repaired items include reupholstered seats w/blue "tick" (originally blue plaid), new carpet kit, master cylinder, tires (90% tread left), battery, fuel pump, wiper fluid resevoir.

Headlight dimmer switch doesn't work, horn has shortage so it's disconnected, rear defrost/fasten seat belt light and buzzer don't work. Vehicle occasionally smokes upon start up; usually smokes after sitting for a day or more until engine warms up as this is the original motor and it has never been rebuilt. Manual choke works and disengages automatically when engine temp is warmed.

"Modifications" include the following: Alpine CD stereo with Alpine amplifier and MB Quart speakers (made in W. Germany) - still have original AM radio but it doesn't work - no cuts to door panels or package tray; window tint; lowered with RX7 front suspension and adjustable camber; Panasport 13" wheels.

I am willing to work with buyer with pick up or shipping but contact me for prior arrangements.
