if you keep stock tires on it you will be ok, you put some decent size wheels and tires the rear end wont last long at all..

pick up a mustang 8.8. they are cheap and work well.

might have found a fox body 8.8, can i just cut my mounts off and weld them to the 8.8? and will the 8.8 in stock form hold up to what i plan to do (will be running slicks and 2800 stall)

I can run high 11s on the standard gearbox and rear end. I'm using 205 wide circuit radials to do that.

In theory my car is only about 1 second off its real potential and it is a lot of work and money to put in a TII gearbox and stronger differential.

I will probably do it eventually because I want to learn how to drive / launch like a pro.
