I remember paying seventeen cents per gal for American reg gasoline . Twenty five cents for American white high test .Some of my motorcycles had the shift on the right and some had a twist hand shifter .

LOL Not too old, but old enough I guess. My son is 16 now & I blame him for my now graying hair, thus the reason for a bald head.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. How about being able to buy high performance muscle cars for a couple hundred bucks? And being able to actually afford the gas to drive it. So much fun when you put your foot to the floor, you could actually watch the gas gauge creep it's way down.

I picked up a 1968 GT fastback 390 4spd Mustang in 1976 for $400.00 (Steve McQueen, Bullit look-a like). Put sparkplugs in it and it ran great. I could usually make it to the next gas station.
