Fuel Pressure Regulator mod?
So, in an effort to make my car run better, I was considering buying a new FPR...
Then I saw the price on mazdatrix. I remember a while back, someone used a B&M FPR on an FC... It's the one that you cut open and bolt up the new top part to. I found a DIY on how to install one, however it's for a Honda, and I dont know if that part number will bolt up to the FC's regulator.... http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/a...ustablefpr.php PS: I have an S4 TII.

It's really isn't worth the money for shortcuts that are potentially dangerous like that. Easiest thing to do is to take off your stock regulator and replace it with a barb fitting and buy an aftermarket adjustable fpr. then run new fuel line to it and then to your return. I have seen countless regulators like the b&m one leak and cause fires or not hold pressure steady and be real sporadic.

I agree those B&M things are no good. I have seen them fail on numerous cars. Go with something like this & a Aeromotive.
or just tap in a barb fitting like said above.
