oh hai, I'm going to be importing a JDM RHD FD3S RX-7 from Japan in a few days (don't tell me I can'ts cuz I knows I can!), and my friends tell me that the pistons go bad after 100,000 miles? Is this true? Also, I read in an owners manual that you can't use synthetic oil, what do I use? Whats up fellas? |

Dave be nice.... Yes you CAN use synthetic oil in rotories.. I use ELF synthetic oil in mine... No the engine does not blow at 100K it will blow much sooner if you treat it bad and neglect it.. it will last much longer if you treat it right and maintain it. Good luck on the import.. get ready to dish the cash out.. post pics when u get a RX7 |
