My Rotary story
My name is Brent Dalton. I have always had a SN of "memphisraines82" on all other forums. I've been into rotaries for around 10 years now. This is my story on how I first ended up with an FD..
When I turned 16, I had to buy my own car, but my parents didn't let me have any say in what I got... so I ended up with a Cavalier. I was pissed at the time, but it was a good call on their part. Fast foreward 2 years to right after high school. I was able to sell my Cavalier and purchase a NA 91 300zx. I thought it was pretty fast. The 3rd day I owned it, me and a friend went to "Slammin and Jammin" car show in Lebanon, TN. We went to the show and when I came back out, there was a MB FD parked next to me. I snapped some pic's and went on my way. Well, he left around the same time and was right on my ass as we got on the interstate on ramp. I thought "I'm going to blow this guys doors off... I know what he has... it's a little 1.3liter". I hammered the gas and thought I was going pretty fast. As soon as we got to where it opened up to 2 lanes, the FD(ended up being David Payne) blew by me like I was standing still. I looked over to my friend and said "holy shit, I'm going to need to get one of those" haha. A year later after working my ass off and going to school full time, I picked up my first FD. I have since owned prob. around 15 or so FD's that I have bought and sold and prob. around 10 T2's. I don't buy and sell like I use to due to being extremely busy with the Army. You can read the build thread to find out the story on my silver car. BTW, the red FD in my sig. is that first FD I picked up in 2000 I leave for Afghanistan for 15 months real soon and look foreward to this forum keeping me occupied when I do get some down time.

disregard, I talked to another guy from Canada that is going to be at Bagram, I was thinking it was you. My fault . I'll be all over the place. Be safe in Kandahar. I'll be there from time to time. It gets pretty hot contact wise down that way from time to time, but I'm sure you know that.
