Pictures of horn location
I'm trying to install my horns but cannot remember where they are mounted. I know they are mounted behind the front bumper cover but which holes to use?. Does anyone have a picture of the location?
Thanks |

Are you running a stock front bumper with the reinforcement? I believe that it is the holes on the outer most section of the front cross support bar. The ones outside of the ground strap connections.
Here is a shot of mine. The passenger side is in the correct spot I think,..I run a GTC front bumper so i have moved things around alot cleaning up the bay area Last edited by BigIslandSevens; 10-26-2009 at 08:03 AM.. |

There is one that is located on the hood latch itself. It feeds along the cluster of wires back to the ABS unit area. The LFT and RGT side sensors I believe mount next to the oil coolers on the frame rail. I will double check on my car. That is where the FSM is pointing me though.
After looking at mine they are in fact mounted near the oil coolers. They mount on the inner support above the oil coolers. I snap a pic tommmorow if you need one. Dave Last edited by BigIslandSevens; 11-04-2009 at 09:19 PM.. |
