FS: FC body panels, free-make offer, Sheboygan WI

I am cutting a '90 GXL up for scrap (too much underbody rust).

The exterior is in pretty good shape.

If you are doing body work and want a portion of a panel, let me know and I will cut it out to your instructions and ship it.

Free Parts to a good home:
S4 Drivers fender, slightly dented, missing portion of back
S5 Passengers fender, dented on bottom of front, rust on bottom of back

Parts for sale for reasonable offer (Please Note that these parts are still on the car and may have unseen rust or putty - I have only owned this car for about 2.5 years):

Clean rocker panels (passengers has small dent halfway back)
Clean Drivers door (without interior)
Clean passengers door (without window regulator and interior)
Any portion of the roof (dent on passengers side)
Any portion of the front box frame (cut to your specs.)
Any portion of the front external frame (cut to your specs.) *The drivers side has been removed from the radiator support forward
Front radiator cradle
S5 bumper skin (minor damage on drives side where lower trim connects) - Gone

Pictures are available upon request for any of these items.

Is that the fender? Or is that behind the drivers door?

I can cut that piece, but could you get me a larger view with some lines and dimensions on it? I don't know the extent of the damage or where you want to weld.
Maybe it would be easier for you to replace the entire quarter panel (I can cut up from the taillight and up the seam under the door seal).

PM me some info, can you pick this up or will I have to ship it? If you can pick it up, you can do the cutting yourself. Otherwise I will need more information and it will cost you something for shipping.

EDIT: I didn't list this quarter panel for a reason, you will have to decide if the rust will be a problem.

The rust goes through the outer layer, but not the inner layer (could be fixed with fiberglass or a small piece of steel without much warpage).

Just let me know more precisely what you have in mind.

Anything not listed in the add is free to a good home (with the exception of the passengers quarter panel, which a buddy already got). Obviously shipping will have to be paid by you.

If that is the front of the drivers fender, I think that I have that piece in good shape (I will look tomorrow).

Mark on the pics where you want it cut. I am removing the doors and interior tomorrow and Sunday, so the body should be pretty well ready to cut up.

Having done some body work, I can guess a spot to cut that should give minimal warpage and require the least seam work, but I would just as soon you decided as you will be doing the body work.

I need both rockers depending on price. I'm in VT at 05855, shipping quote? basically I need the entire rocker from front of door (up to fender) and back to rear wheel well, cut up to the bottom of the door and preferably at least back to the seam weld or including the seam weld area on the bottom of the car. my rockers are basically non-existant but the rest of the car is rust free! let me know on price and if you can do this.

Let me get the rockers off the car and I will decide if they are worth anything.

From the outside, they look good. However, the car was repainted by the PO and they covered up some problems.

Oh yeah, I edited the original post

edit:

Here are some pictures (forgive the terrible quality, I am not a photographer)

I could swear that this car has rusted more in the last two months of using good garage space than in several years in the field. I don't remember the surface rust starting up the lip.

I am a bit slow at cutting this car up. I really need the garage space too, I just have to work/travel for work too much.

how about the panel between the passenger rear tire and the bumper. you could cut it right where the top of the trim starts.

No problem, I haven't touched this car in forever, I don't know where my time goes.
I still haven't got around to cutting it up.

I will speak to my friend who spoke for that panel and see how much of the panel he wants. I know he doesn't need anything back of the wheel. I will PM you when I find out.

Sorry, I am out of the loop - no word yet.

I broke the transmission in my '86 again and am trying to figure out how to fix it.

This is on hold for a while.

well, just forget about me then. shipping would probably be expensive anyway. I'll just fab something up. my sideskirts from my widebody kit will cover them anyway. I need to get started on this as I have a lot to do to the car but that is the main concern right now as I may end up driving it this winter too.
