leaking BOV, or something else?
so i finally fixed all my air leaks and got no leaking air when i pressure test my motor. so i then started the car and it still had a bouncing idle. i adjusted the TPS until it idled close to OK and was in range. but, when i put my finger over the stock BOV release, it idles just fine. but when i remove my finger it idles crappy again.
is my BOV leaking/bad, or is it still something else?

from your diagnostics, it is possible that your BOV is leaking. does it have the stock MAP on it? i couldn't see a leak that small being picked up by a stock MAP. it may be a combination of things.

yeah, stock MAP, ECU, and MAF on it. S5 TII...
well the hole on the BOV is about 3/4"? thats a pretty big hole for air to leak. is there a way to test it?

fixed it. it wasnt the blow off valve.
i tryed another one i had and still the problem stayed. so i just changed the vacuum port i was using and now its good. i think the vacuum port i was using didnt have enough vacuum to make the BOV do its job correctly...
