Michigan autocross 2 day event: 8/8-9
Hey guys, anyone close to Michigan should check this one out. Great location to hang out for a weekend, and great people to play with. Already got a few RX7s registered.
The race is in Lansing, so it's pretty central to anyone in Michigan, and will run Saturday and Sunday. Run one day, or get a $5.00 discount for running both days. Cost is only $20.00, and we've got loaner helmets available. http://myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmE...event_id=10548 Who wants to come out and play with us? .

Many parts of Canada are considerably closer to Lansing than Oklahoma is.
Besides, I'm trying to work out the funds to make it to the final SCCA Midwest Division autox later in Aug. That will be held in Nebraska, and is a 450 mile trip from here. But, as 1 of only 2 people that could even qualify for a Midwest Division title in CSP, I could actually bring it home just by attending....... If the other guy shows up, it'll require a little more effort on my part. There have been 3 events so far this year, and only 2 total entries. They require 2 events to qualify. I can't afford to do both, and there's only one that really holds a major reward for me. I believe that qualifies as a justifiable reason to skip this event. |

Seeing as to how the only other (MiDiv) CSP entry this year was a GSL-SE IT car, it's pretty obvious that if there is a class champion, it will be a 1st gen RX7.
The only unknown at this time is, will one or both of us actually be able to make the final event? It would be a shame if neither of us were to attend...... |
