Anyone know if a Cosmo auto will work in place of a S5 Vert Auto?

Not me lol...A co-worker of my dad's just bought a Black on Black S5 Vert with a bad auto tranny for $350 bucks...Wants to stay auto as it will be his daughter's car so he needs a tranny...Vinnie has a spare Cosmo auto that came with his 13B-RE so I am trying to find out if it has a chance of fitting before I drive up and get it

I'm not sure But a buddy just put a Cosmo engine IN an S5..
I don't know If he used his N/A Trans though..or if the Trans was from the Cosmo..maybe PM him on the OTHER club(his name is Flipstar..he is a very informative guy.I'd bet he would give you some info.)..Regards,STYX.

I'm sure it will bolt up, the only difference might be the drive shaft length. You might need to get a custom drive shaft made for this.
