Howdy.
So I see we have a shiny new forum here... looks like it's only about a week old. It's always good to be there at the genesis of something that could one day (soon perhaps) be a major staple in the rotary community. So let me introduce myself.
Those from the Southeast section of RX7club know me as LizardFC. I usually help organize the East TN meets and am responsible for that 3000+ post monster thread that is probably an enormous burden on their servers. Oops. I've been at least mildly interested in rotary cars since I was a kid, but I've been obsessed since I was 18 and I happened to see an FC for sale in the paper. At that point I didn't know they even made RX-7's in 1988, but I knew I wanted it. Skip ahead 5 years and I've owned 2 FC's and 1 FB, two of which I still have. My infamous Black Cherry Metallic (okay fine, it's purple) 87 Turbo II and the equally infamous "Cheeto" - 85 GSL. The story on that one is in the first gen multimedia section. I spend a lot of time and expensive gasoline up at the Dragon and I have a photobucket full of pictures as a result. I enjoy taking pictures up there almost as much as I love the drive. I also run the US129 Myspace group. I guess that's about it. - Jimi |
