				Installed Coilovers Need advice

Is it best to have them as low as possible? also I need some advice on correct alignment. It is best to take them to someone who has all the laser alignment tools or can I do this my self successfully? -Kevin |

I would set the ride height to whatever you prefer. Best bet would be to have the car aligned and corner balanced. However, I dont claim to have much knowledge in suspension setups for autox or open track.

Kevin, I would set the height the way you want and then get it aligned. I took my car to Saab tire and they did an awesome job! If you tell them you are part of Alabama Rotary Car Club and they will give you 10% OFF. PHIL

I wouldn't make them as low as they can go. There is a thread on the other forum in the suspension section that Howard Coleman did, that talks about ride height, I can't remember what it was. I would just make sure the car is level left to right, with you sitting in it, and then go get an alignment, preferably with you in it, if you want an exact alignment. If not just set it level and get it aligned without you in it and it should be fine. I'd leave the rear alittle bit higher than the front, but not more than 1/4-1/2in.

for track purposes, 25-25.5in from the center opening of the fender to the ground is a good starting point.

I think you can go too low for competition driving, I don't want to hit the bump stops or wheel wells. http://www.rotarycarclub.com/showpos...9&postcount=94
