Why we have a mazda
The following explains my name: I am an antique collector, but back in the early 90's my Daughter and Son in Law asked me if I would lend them some money they would sign over the 80 Mazda to us for security. I loaned them the money, two weeks later they came and told us that they took care of their debts and were now getting DIVORCED. This is why we ended up with the 501 HP Mazda test car with the first Cartech turbo ever in these mazdas. This was done by Lee Hurley Automotive in Birmingham Alabama. This car was way to fast for us, so it has been covered in our storage for 20 years. I thought that it is now time for us to consider selling it. mazda by default

Hmmm, 501HP I find hard to believe but a cartech turbo on an 80. Very desirable.
I would put it on bringatrailer.com if its really that unique. That would bring you the best price I would think. Or go through one of the big auction houses. Or sell it here! We so want to see pics inside, outside, under, engine bay, front, rear, sides.

In the Additional Options Menu just below the reply box you will see a button that says "Manage Attachements" you can click on that and it will open a box where you can select to browse your images select them and then a button to upload them. It may take a while but that is one way.

Hey gang. I still have the car and am interested in selling but am a procrastinator and do not know now to take the next step. I would appreciate talking to someone that knows more about selling or listing this. I just got on this website after a long time and appreciate and apologize for not responding sooner.

This was ~20 years ago but reading your first intro I would have thought this happened recently, especially with the face. Anyways, welcome! hope the car finds a good home.

Get off my lawn!!!

^ Yeah... call me pessimistic, but I smell troll...
I find it somewhat difficult to believe that an antiques dealer/collector would be unable to price an old, 1-off, land speed record breaking racecar. THEN they would wait 20-30 years before bothering to try moving it. I thought that cartech only made FC kits anyway?
