Hello from Spain!
Hi there,
I came across this forum after recently become owener of a rusty Hercules W 2000 in who knows what condition... It has been in the family for decades, more or less 30 years stopped in a garage, and I now wonder what to do with it. Shall I restore? Shall I sell? I hope this forum sheds some light here! ![]() |

Oh wow! First off, welcome! Secondly. . you have yourself the rarer of the W2000s, in rough shape but a keeper nonetheless! For what it's worth, in my opinion I'd say put some time and money into it and get it nice again. Whether you want to sell it or keep it once complete is up to you but in its current state it wont bring much.
Don't let the "rare" comment get to your head and think you hit a gold mine like this guy and try to charge someone the rare tax for example. BTW, this bike is back up for sale again. . . http://www.ebay.com/itm/Other-Makes-...m=182123695158 I've laid hands on this bike personally and worked on many more to say the least and can say with absolute certainty that it is not "ALL ORIGINAL". . Anyways, if you need any guidance I'd be more that happy to assist. Here's mine ![]()
